Population
According to the 1988 population census the district had 47,009 people, at an average growth rate of 5% and this population increased to 81,221 people with the average growth rate of 4% according to the national and housing census which conducted in 2002. These both growth rates did not take into consideration the natural growth and Immigration from the rest of the region and neighboring countries, which is quite substantial.
